What has leaving a trace got to do with change and transformation?
Quite a lot, actually.
Leaders and organisations spend enormous amounts of time designing change.
The strategy is agreed.
The workshop happens.
The Post-its go up.
And then?
Monday happens.
Old patterns return. Priorities compete. The conditions change. And that brilliant plan starts gathering dust somewhere between the meeting room and reality.
For leaders, it can be just as familiar: knowing something needs to change, but discovering that the old answers don't quite fit the person, business or future you're becoming.
That's the problem I find fascinating.
At The Darling Frequency, I work with leaders and organisations to make sense of what's really happening, see the patterns shaping what happens next and create change that can adapt when reality inevitably refuses to follow the script.
With Q4 approaching, maybe the question isn't what else should we change?
Maybe it's:
What would make this one stick?

Because the best change doesn't end with the Post-its.
It leaves a trace.
